Gluten-Free Dark Chocolate Brownies (Paleo)
  • 200gms dark chocolate
  • 150 gms butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoon of coconut flour
  • 150 gms of chickpea flour of almond flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tablesp of Jaggery or coconut palm sugar
  • 1 cup of coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 50gms of cocoa nibs or dark chocolate coarsely chopped
Melt chocolate with salt over low indirect heat (Bain-marie) add Butter until completely melted. Remove from heat and let cool, add beaten eggs one at a time stirring well with wooden spoon till mixture thickens. Sieve the flour and fold into mixture.
Pour into 10”x6” greased cake tin and bake in preheated oven 180 degrees C for 15-20 mins
Do not over bake as it will be hard and dry. The centre should be slightly undercooked. Cool and cut into squares
